Consumer Decision Making
We will be preparing for the upcoming contest at the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo. We have entered a Senior and an Intermediate team. Anyone wishing to participate please contact the office if you have not already done so. We will have a practice on January 10th at 6pm at the extension office. We will discuss the contest and discuss when to plan more practices. Any adults wishing to help coach please contact the office or plan on attending the meeting.
Good consumer skills can help you get more for your money. Consumer Decision Making gives youth the opportunity to make wise decisions when shopping. Consumer Decision Making is a judging contest designed to teach kids to observe, compare and make consumer based decisions based on facts. 4-Hers use their consumer knowledge to rank similarly based products to fit a given scenario. Kids learn to organize their thoughts and to defend their decisions in oral reasons.
