Club Meeting Times and Locations

There have been some changes to club meeting times and locations. Double check to make sure you know when and where your club is meeting!

Bastrop 4-H Club

Second Monday, 6:00 p.m.

Brush Poppers 4-H Horse Club

First Monday, 7:00 p.m.

Cedar Creek United Methodist Church

K-9 Cadets 4-H Dog Club

Second Tuesday, 6:45 p.m.

Bastrop Show Barn

Lone Star 4-H Club

Second Monday, 7:00 p.m.

Frontier Bank Meeting Room, Elgin

Lone Star's September and October meetings will be at 7:00 the 3rd Monday!

Vet Science group will meet at the Elgin Frontier Bank at 6:00 the 3rd Monday of October.

Paige 4-H Club

First Sunday, 4:30 p.m.

NEW 4-H RECORD KEEPING SYSTEM

Starting October 1, you can visit http://www.4hreports.com to see a newly created online 4-H recordkeeping system. While there really are not major changes, you should be very pleased with the changes. You also have the option of utilizing the online system or the printed forms. A highlight of changes includes:
- 3 levels of recordbooks - Junior, Intermediate, & Senior with the Junior & Intermediate books being simplified
- The 5 4-H objectives will no longer be referenced in the report form
- Photo captions not required
- Resume for seniors not required

Online trainings have been planned for October and November, and these sessions will be recorded so you can listen to them at your convenience.

NATIONAL 4-H WEEK

National 4-H week is Sun., Oct. 2 - Sat., Oct. 8.

It will be here before you know it, so be sure your club is planning some festive activities. We will also be planning some things to do at the county level. Be watching for more information!
